Constantly Varied, Functional Movement, Performed at Relative High Intensity

CrossFit by definition is Constantly Varied, Functional Movements performed at High Intensity.

Functional movements are movements we do everyday in life such as pushing, pulling, squatting jumping and running. We do these things when we sit up from a chair, put something up on the shelf or pick something up off the ground.

The workouts by design are scalable for all ages, abilities and level of fitness by varying the load (weight) and intensity (time) of any workout. By constantly varying your workouts, you never get into the same routine and your workouts have a greater variety to help train your General Physical Preparedness (GPP).

CrossFit help trains the ten fitness domains of: endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. These wods (workout of the day) are done in a group environment and are performed at the highest intensity the individual can sustain with good form and proper technique. The wods can be scaled and modified to meet each athletes ability. Each class is run by an experienced CrossFit coach to help athletes achieve their goals.
