CrossFit

CrossFit, by definition, is constantly varied functional movements performed at high relative intensity (the highest intensity any individual can safely sustain with good form and technique).

Functional movements are movements we do everyday in life, such as pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, and running. We perform functional movements any time we stand up from a chair, put something up on a shelf, or pick something up off the ground.

CrossFit workouts are constantly varied and designed to improve all 10 domains of fitness: endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. Our workouts are scalable for all ages, abilities, and levels of fitness — any exercise can be modified to meet your specific needs and abilities.

These workouts — also known as the WOD, or Workout of the Day — are done in a group environment run by an experienced CrossFit coach to help athletes achieve their goals. And the high-fives, fist-bumps, and cheers from your fellow CrossFit community members? That’s just a bonus!
