Welcome to Carson City Barbell Club - Strength and Conditioning

We offer Personal Training, Semi-Private Training and Open Gym memberships to help your reach your goals.

Clients are placed into the appropriate program based on their goals, skill level and ability. All progress is monitored by your coach to ensure you are safe and the program is effective. 

Our Facility: Step into our state-of-the-art facility, designed with one goal in mind – to help you forge your inner strength. Our gym is equipped with top-tier Olympic Weightlifting platforms, power racks, a variety of barbells and plates, and the latest strength training equipment from Rogue. We also have 50ft of turf for sleds and Yoke carries. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or someone looking to improve strength, we got you covered.

Olympic Weightlifting: At our Barbell Club, we’re passionate about Olympic Weightlifting. Whether you’re an aspiring Olympian or a newcomer to the sport, our world-class coaches are here to help you achieve your goals. We offer specialized training programs designed to hone your technique, build your strength, and enhance your overall performance in Olympic Weightlifting. Our focus is on developing athletes who are not only strong but also technically proficient in the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.

Powerlifting: Whether you’re a youth athlete, a seasoned lifter, or just someone looking to increase their strength, our Powerlifting program is tailored to meet your needs. Our coaching staff, with years of experience, will guide you through the squat, bench press, and deadlift, helping you build raw strength and power.

Strength and Conditioning for Sports: We understand the unique demands of high school sports, both in and out of season. Our strength and conditioning programs are specifically designed to enhance the performance of high school athletes, providing them with the strength, agility, and endurance needed to excel on the field or court. Our experienced coaches work closely with athletes to create personalized training plans that complement their sport-specific needs for both in season and off season.

General FAQ

How much coaching will I get?

Coaches will have coaching hours for instance feedback and answer questions, You can also receive help and support from your teammates.

Do I get video technique reviews?

Yes. You can post training videos whenever you want, but you will not get feedback on every video. You can expect a response to your videos 1 – 2 times per week. You can upload videos on our private page and ask for coaching feedback.

Is the program customized for me?

Each CCBC program is a single program for the club. You can select your training 3-4 day frequency and the program we will calculate your weights based on your maximums. Additionally, your coach can suggest minor modifications when appropriate.

Can I combine this with another program or CrossFit?

Yes, You can choose a lower training frequency if you want to add CrossFit training on other days.

What happens when the training cycle ends after 12 weeks?

This programming is interactive. Future training cycles will account for the experience and feedback of the club.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, but keep in mind that programs are perpetual and billed monthly the same as any other membership. you need to cancel prior to your monthly renewal.

Can I upgrade my program?

You can always upgrade to CCBC personal program.

What if I want to do Open gym only and no programming?

No problem. You pay an open gym membership fee and can come during any open gym hours.
